WYTHEVILLE, VA-
The Blue Ridge Bobcats, proud members of the FPHL, are pleased to announce the club has re-signed Defenseman Timothy St.-Pierre to a PTO contract for the 2026-2027 season.
The Rimouski, Quebec native joined the team in late January of last season and made an instant impact on the backend. The 6'1" 185lb blueliner established himself as a stalwart and productive two-way defenseman, recording 9 points (3 goals, 6 assists) and a +16 rating in 25 regular season contests. St.-Pierre also added an assist and logged key minutes in 3 Commissioner's Cup Playoff games.
"We are very excited to welcome Timothy back for a full season with our team," said head coach and general manager Vojtech Zemlicka.
“Tim is a young, two-way defenseman who has established himself as one of the elite defensemen at this level. The most exciting part is that I believe he has only scratched the surface of his potential and has even more to offer. Although Tim joined the team later in the season, he made an immediate impact on our defensive core, contributing at a high level both offensively and defensively.”
“Defensively, his ability to slow opposing players, force them to the outside, and disrupt attacks, combined with his excellent angling and stick control, consistently created turnovers and allowed us to transition quickly back to offense. Offensively, Tim has demonstrated an elite shot and exceptional puck control, while his footwork and deception in the offensive zone make him a constant scoring threat. His contributions on both sides of the game have been invaluable to our team's success, and we look forward to seeing him continue to elevate his game in the coming season.”
Season tickets are on sale now to see St.-Pierre and the rest of his Bobcats teammates when they take the #HitachiEnergyArena ice on October 16th at blueridgebobcats.com/26-27-season-tickets
