Working as a physical forward Schwartz spent last season spending time working in the slot and crashing the net. Skating with Gaylord Snow in the MIHL where he earned 17 goals, 18 assists, and 35 points in 16 games of action.

Prior to his time with the Snow, Schwartz spent a season in the ACHA with the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies. He saw action in 32 games, earning 15 goals, 20 assists, and 35 points.

Schwartz’s quick release and puck control were some of the elements that caught the eye of Bobcats Head Coach Vojtech Zemlicka.

“Jeremy was part of the FPHL free agent camp this summer, where he impressed me with his work ethic, explosive skating, and quick shot release. Jeremy has all the abilities he needs to be successful at this level. Jeremy’s puck protection and net drive are great, he’s strong in battles, prides himself on winning races, plays physical, and he’s not afraid to lay his body on the line to block shots,” Zemlicka said.
