Bobcats Land USPHL's All Time Leading Scorer Roman Wolynec for '26-27 Season

WYTHEVILLE, VA-

The Blue Ridge Bobcats, proud members of the FPHL, are proud to announce the team has signed the USPHL's all-time leading scorer, Forward Roman Wolynec to a PTO contract for the 2026-2027 season.
The Langley, British Columbia native made junior hockey history in 2025 when he reached 241 points in the United States Premier Hockey League to become the circuit's all time leading scorer, while serving as an assistant captain in his three seasons with the Seattle Totems. The 6'0" 181lb forward is now set to bring his elite offensive prowess to the FPHL and to the Bobcats, sure to delight and dazzle fans with his skill and scoring ability.
"We are incredibly excited to add a forward of Roman's caliber to our group," said head coach and general manager Vojtech Zemlicka.
"Roman is a threat to the opposition every time the puck is on his stick. His high hockey IQ, combined with his deception and creativity, makes him an incredibly dangerous player. His record numbers in juniors highlight his ability to not only put himself in great scoring positions but also set up his teammates.”
“Roman also served as one of the captains on his previous team, which aligns with our philosophy of building a team of leaders and competitors. We're excited to see him showcase his playmaking ability and the impact he can make for our team here in Blue Ridge."
Additionally, we have placed F Brandon Stojcevski on inactive status as he joins the Macon Mayhem of the SPHL. Should Stojcevski return to the FPHL, the Bobcats hold his player rights.
