Bobcats Ink Explosive Forward Mason Emoff to PTO for '26-27 Season

The Blue Ridge Bobcats, proud members of the FPHL, are proud to announce the team has signed Forward Mason Emoff to a PTO contract for the 2026-2027 season.

Emoff, a 5'10" 175lb right-shot forward from Orangeville, Ontario, brings a strong mix of speed, competitiveness, hockey sense and offensive ability. 

Emoff played four seasons of NCAA Division III hockey at Manhattanville College, where he developed into a reliable two-way forward and served as a team captain during his senior season in 2022–23. That year, he finished second on the team with 11 goals, added 13 assists and recorded 63 shots on goal in 26 games.

He then turned pro, spending the 2023-2024 season between the SPHL with the Quad City Storm and ECHL with the Kalamazoo Wings. Emoff broke out the following season in 2024-25, posting 19 points (6 goals , 13 assists) in 32 SPHL games with the Fayetteville Marksmen, followed by six points in 17 ECHL games with the Bloomington Bison and Greeneville Swamp Rabbits.

Emoff spent last season overseas with Pergine Sapiens of Italy's second-tier professional league and racked up 27 points (15 goals, 12 assists) in 31 games. He also hails from the same hometown as recently re-signed Bobcats forward Nick Stuckless.

"He’s a fast, smart, and responsible two-way forward who loves to compete and has the ability to change the game in our favor." 

"Mason has proven he can be an asset at every level he’s played, including the ECHL, and that experience and leadership will be extremely valuable for us," Zemlicka added. "We expect Mason to be a guy who makes a difference for us on both sides of the ice while also making the players around him better. We’re thrilled to have him in Blue Ridge and can’t wait to see what he brings to our lineup.”
