BOBCATS INK ELITE FORWARD RUSLAN GOSPODYNKO TO PTO
WYTHEVILLE, VA-The Blue Ridge Bobcats, proud members of the FPHL, are pleased to announce that the club has signed F Ruslan Gospodynko to a PTO for the 2026-27 season.
The 5'11" 195lb forward brings elite offensive prowess to Blue Ridge. Over the last two seasons with Istanbul Buyuksehir SK of the Turkish Ice Hockey Super League, the Salekhard, Russia native racked up eye-popping numbers. In just 41 games, Gospodynko averaged over 2 points per game, posting 83 points (27 goals, 56 assists) and a +55 rating.
"We are incredibly excited to bring an elite forward like Ruslan into our group for this upcoming season," said head coach and general manager Vojtech Zemlicka. "Ruslan has been known throughout his playing career for adapting quickly to different leagues and countries at both the junior and professional levels, and has contributed consistently offensively everywhere he's been. We have no doubt he will adapt quickly to the North American game and dazzle fans with his elite skill and scoring ability."
