Bobcats Bring Back Eison Nee For Second Shot In Training Camp
WYTHEVILLE, VA-
The Blue Ridge Bobcats, proud members of the FPHL, are pleased to announce the team has signed forward Eison Nee to a PTO contract with an invite to the team's training camp for the 2026-2027 season.
The 5'11" 172lb forward was in training camp with the Bobcats last season after two strong campaigns with the USPHL Premier's South Shore Kings where he posted 59 points (19G, 40A) in 73 games (including playoffs). The 21 year old Wakefield, Rhode Island native returned to the USPHL Premier last season to further hone his skills with the Minnesota Squatch and recorded 28 points (14G, 14A) in 18 games (including playoffs).
“Eison is a player we’re very familiar with after having him in our camp last year. At that time, we decided the best path for him was to return to juniors to continue developing his game, build confidence, and gain valuable experience,” said Head Coach and General Manager of Hockey Operations, Vojtech Zemlicka. “Eison took that experience from our camp, went back to juniors, continued to develop, and became a more complete and confident player. His skating, decision-making, puck composure, and overall understanding of the game have all taken another step forward. We saw the potential in Eison last year, and he went out and proved that he was willing to put in the work to get better. We’re excited to bring him back to Blue Ridge and see him compete for a spot at this level.”
Season tickets are on sale to see Nee and the rest of the Bobcats when they take the #HitachiEnergyArena ice in just 35 days at blueridgebobcats.com/26-27-season-tickets.
