Bobcats Bring Back Czech-Born Blueliner Filip Hlavac for 2026-2027 Season

The 6'3" 210lb defenseman returns for his third season in Blue Ridge and has become a key contributor in his first pair of pro seasons with the Bobcats.

Hlavac has amassed 50 points (13 goals, 37 assists) and an impressive +23 rating in 82 career games (including playoffs). Hlavac has been an impact player on special teams, scoring 4 power play goals and one shorthanded goal last season. He's also been one of the team's top clutch performers, with 6 of his 13 career goals serving as game winners.
