Bobcats Announce Opponent For 2026-2027 Season Opening Weekend at Hitachi Energy Arena

WYTHEVILLE, VA-

The Blue Ridge Bobcats, proud members of the FPHL, have announced today their opponent to open the franchise's fourth season on home ice at Hitachi Energy Arena. For the second consecutive year, the Columbus River Dragons will visit Roar County to open the campaign on October 16th and 17th. 

Opening Night on October 16th will be presented by returning corporate partner McDonald's, and the October 17th contest will be the club's "Pink in the Rink" Cancer Awareness game.

Blue Ridge's full schedule for the 2026-2027 season, will be announced on Friday, July 24. The team's schedule of promotional/theme nights will also be announced at a later date.
