WYTHEVILLE, VA-
The Blue Ridge Bobcats, proud members of the FPHL, are pleased to announce the team has signed forward Adam Paleček to a PTO contract for the 2026-2027 season.
The 6'1" 187lb winger brings a high-energy play style and elite playing background to the Bobcats. The Pardubice, Czechia native played nearly a decade of amateur hockey on the international stage, competing for the Czech national teams at the U16, U17 and U20 levels.
The 23 year old has spent the last five seasons between the second and third tier professional league in Czechia, and is coming to Blue Ridge fresh off the heels of his two most productive seasons of pro hockey to date. Paleček has posted 26 points (14G, 12A) and a +23 rating in 58 games over the last pair of seasons for HHK Velké Meziříčí.
“Adam is a big, power forward who is going to be very difficult to play against," said Head Coach and General Manager of Hockey Operations, Vojtech Zemlicka. "He has a quick and heavy release, skates extremely well and understands how to play 200-foot. What stands out about his game is how well he uses his size on both sides of the puck. He’s strong and composed with the puck but without the puck he isn’t afraid to impose himself physically. He’s also a team-first guy who wants to win. Adding Adam gives us even more size, firepower, and depth. He makes our lineup deeper, heavier, and tougher to play against.”
Season tickets are still on sale to see Paleček and the rest of the Bobcats when they hit the #HitachiEnergyArena ice in just 42 days at blueridgebobcats.com/26-27-season-tickets
