BLUE RIDGE ADDS FORWARD ELI LIEFFERS WITH 30TH OVERALL DISPERSAL DRAFT PICK

With the 30th overall pick in the 2026 #FPHLDispersalDraft, your Blue Ridge Bobcats selected, from the Athens Rock Lobsters, Eli Lieffers.

Lieffers brings a wealth of high-level junior, collegiate and professional experience to the Bobcats.

The mammoth 6'5" 210lb forward racked up 63 points (27G, 36A) in 94 games in the elite Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL), and added 30 points in 92 games during his Canadian Collegiate career at the USports level.

The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native made his pro debut with the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers in 2024-25, scoring a clutch playoff goal for the club. With Athens in 2025-26, Lieffers notched 15 points in 24 games (including playoffs).

"We are extremely excited to welcome Eli to our club," said head coach and general manager Vojtech Zemlicka. "Eli is a power forward whose game is built on size, work ethic, and physicality. He's a big-bodied power forward who uses his reach and size effectively along the boards and in front of the net, and we think his physical presence and full 200-foot game will quickly make him a fan favorite. We are very excited to see what he can do here in Roar County."
